My wife thinks Im a hero for installing this 19.5 JD BS in my Model L100 lawn mower. What a snap to install completed in 3 hrs. I had to figure out that one bolt on the old spline and the pully came off with ease. I had to figure out that the engine bolts are self tapping so just keep tightning until snug. Thank you small engine surplus for this great buy and easy to install engine. You are listed in my contacts under "favorite". PS it arrived by UPS (Brown) in 3 days and the female driver carried it to my shed.

The engine came on time and in good shape. I replaced the old 18.5 B&S with the new 19.5 hp 31p677-0144 B&S and everthing fit and hooked up just fine. The engine ran great on the start-up. I think it took me 2-3 hours to do the job.

Great value. Ordered this on a holiday weekend. Arrived in 3 business days, dropped right into my Husqvarna tractor perfectly in an afternoon. The only modification I made was to re-route the tank fuel line. The whole process was a snap even for an amateur mechanic like me. Started & ran perfectly & the 30% power prevents the 42\" deck from bogging down in taller wetter grass than I could mow with the original 15 hp. Will definitely use Small Engine Surplus next time!
