PRODUCT AND ENGINE RETURNS
We no longer take responsibility for customers ordering
incorrect engines or transaxles.
Due to very low margin of profit and a high return rate at the end of the
summer we can no longer allow any returns of small engines as of
11/01/08. We hate to do this but it is a necessity to keep our doors open and
keep giving the low prices we offer. You MUST double check and make absolutely
sure that the engine or transaxle you are buying will work for your application
or you might be stuck with an engine you cannot use. One suggestion we can
offer is if you end up with an engine or transaxle you cannot use you might
want to try to sell it on eBay to recoup part of your loss ?
We highly recommend emailing us and calling the manufacturer to make sure an
engine will interchange with your current engine.
Our primary goal is your satisfaction! If you ever receive a product that is
defective due to workmanship or materials, contact us if you need help.
All of the products we sell and distribute, if warranted, are warranted
by the manufacturer of the product. We do not manufacture any products and
do not accept returns. You will need to contact the manufacturer or your
local dealer for warranty information and repairs. There will be no
warranty on any Tecumseh engines or parts. Engines that have
been started, had Oil or gas added or have been modified in any way, ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR RETURN!
ENGINES:
If you ever receive a product that is defective due to workmanship or
materials, just contact your local authorized repair center for factory warranty
repair. If you are having trouble locating an authorized factory
repair center, email us and we will help you locate a repair
center.
If we have recommended an engine for your application that was not
correct, send us a copy of the email quote and we will waive the 20% restocking
fee. We highly recommend you Email us before ordering your engine to be sure it
will work for your machine. In some cases we will send you to the manufacturer
for this information. (After all, they know the engines better than anybody) The
customer is responsible for assuring that the engine ordered will work for their
specific application. Website images are representative, actual engine may
vary from the image shown. Some modifications may be required, if the
model and type purchased differs from original model and type, at the consumers
expense.
DAMAGE POLICY:
All shipments must be inspected before accepting. If
the shipment is damaged or looks like it has been improperly handled, you must
notify the delivery driver. If engine has been damaged excessively, you
should refuse the shipment. If your package is left at your residence or
business while you are gone and it looks or has been damaged you
must contact us BEFORE calling the delivery company.
Broken items will be replaced within approximately 20 days of delivery if a
like item is available, in the case of the like item being unavailable you will
be refunded the item cost.
Shippers: UPS, FedEx,
Freight (Engines over 90 lbs are shipped via truck & you will be notified of
the carrier)
