The shortblock for this Briggs small engine is a Part Number: 496241

Note: The charging system on the 350777 - 1159 small engine was designed for John Deere. The voltage regulator has an extra orange wire that must be connected to the accessory terminal of the keyswitch. This voltage regulator needs to have 12 volts from the battery only in the "on" position of the keyswitch to allow the regulator to monitor the battery voltage and better regulate the charge rate. However, this connection needs to be broken in the "off" position when the engine is not running so it does not run the battery down. Connect the Red wire to the battery to "charge" and the orange from the keyswitch to "activate" the regulator. Tan wire is for a charge indicator light, (3-watt)
